Kingsbridge Heights: Man Sought following Stabbing on East Kingsbridge Road

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached video and photograph who is sought for questioning in connection to an assault that occurred on the border of Kingsbridge Heights and Fordham Manor, in the 52nd precinct.

 

It was reported to police that on Thursday, Dec. 23, at approximately 1.33 p.m., in the vicinity of East Kingsbridge Road and Jerome Avenue, on the border of Kingsbridge Heights and Fordham Manor, the person stabbed a 32-year-old man, following a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical altercation.

 

The victim suffered a stab wound to the chest, and was later transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. The assailant entered the Kingsbridge Road subway station, which serves the 4 line and fled aboard a southbound train.

 

He is described as male, Hispanic, has his hair in a ponytail and who wore a dark-colored baseball cap, a black, hooded sweater, a black jacket, black pants and white sneakers.
