Kingsbridge Heights: Man Sought following Armed Robbery

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is sought in connection to a robbery that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights.

 

Police said that on Monday, Feb. 19, at around 10 p.m., a 28-year-old male victim was dropping off a second male at 2763 Morris Avenue. They said the two got into a dispute and the second male then displayed a knife and stole an envelope containing $590 from the victim. They said the thief then fled on foot to parts unknown and the victim did not report any injuries.

Police said the thief is described as male, has with a light complexion, is estimated to be between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighing between 140 and 150 pounds. They said he was last seen wearing red sweatpants, a dark-colored jacket with fur around the collar, white sneakers, and a green backpack.
