Bedford Park: Man Wanted in Connection with Forced Entry & Robbery

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection with a burglary which took place within the confines of the 52nd precinct.

 

It was reported to police that on Monday Sept. 14, 2020, at approximately 8 a.m., at a residence in the vicinity of Briggs Avenue and East 199th Street in the Bedford Park section of the Bronx, an unknown individual gained entry into a 35-year-old female victim’s home by unknown means. Once inside, that individual took the victim’s wallet and a hair clippers.

Among the items inside of the wallet were numerous credit cards. The ensuing investigation determined that on September 14, 2020, at approximately 2:20 p.m., the individual used the victim’s credit cards to make unauthorized purchases at a grocery store located at 1560 East 174th Street in the Bronx.

 

The individual is described as a light-skinned male with eyeglasses; last seen wearing a blue and red baseball cap, a red hooded sweater with the words “looney tunes” on it, blue jeans and black sneakers.
