Gun Hill Houses: Search for Man Wanted in Connection to Shooting

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual seen in the attached surveillance video and photo in connection with a reckless endangerment incident that occurred in the 47th precinct.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, at around 2.38 p.m., an unidentified individual discharged a firearm multiple times in a hallway inside 735 Magenta Street (Gun Hill Houses). The person then fled on foot southbound on Holland Avenue. There were no injuries reported but there was property damage to the walls at the location as a result of this incident.

Surveillance video is attached and was obtained from the incident location, before the incident occurred.
