Fordham Manor: NYPD Searching for Suspect Wanted for Attempted Robbery

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached photos and video, who is wanted for questioning in connection with an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 46th precinct.

 

On Monday, May 25, 2020, police received a report of an incident inside a residential building in the vicinity of Morris Avenue and East Fordham Road, at approximately 2:11 p.m., whereby an 86-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified individual as he was walking home.

 

The individual demanded money and pushed the victim to the ground. The individual then fled in an unknown direction without removing any property from the victim. The victim refused medical attention.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the male is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
