The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Wednesday, June 4, at approximately 8.55 p.m., a 60-year-old male victim was standing in front of 2425 Grand Avenue, when an unidentified person approached him and engaged in a verbal dispute with him. They said the assailant struck the victim in the face with a glass bottle, causing a laceration to his lip.
“The unidentified individual then fled on foot traveling southbound on Grand Avenue to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.”
Police said the suspect is described as male, and was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, red shorts, red sneakers and a red baseball cap.
