Fordham Heights: Three Sought for Gunpoint Robbery of 21-Year-Old Man

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached photo who police say is sought in connection with a gunpoint robbery that occurred in Fordham Heights.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at around 11 a.m., three males got into a struggle with a 21-year-old male victim in front of 2262 Jerome Avenue. They said one of the three had agreed to meet up with the 21-year-old to purchase a piece of clothing, and all three forcefully stole the item from him. “One of the unknown individuals then displayed a weapon from the inside of his fanny pack [at] the 21-year-old male,” a police spokesperson said. “The three unidentified individuals fled on foot towards 182 Street and Crescent Avenue.”

 

Police said the first sought individual is described as male, has a dark complexion and was wearing all black. They said the second person sought is also described as male, has a dark complexion and was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and gray sweats. They said the third suspect is also described as male, has a dark complexion, and was wearing a fanny pack and gray sweat pants.
