Fordham Heights: Search for Two Men following Armed Robbery

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance locating  the two unidentified men seen in the attached photos and video who are sought (unidentified male #2 for questioning) in connection with a robbery that occurred in Fordham Heights, in the 46th precinct.

 

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, June 8, at 1.40 a.m., the victim, a 40-year-old man, was seated in the driver seat of a parked blue 2006 Honda Civic in front of 2324 Grand Concourse.

 

The first suspect (unidentified male #1) approached the car, opened the driver-side door, produced a handgun and ordered the victim out of the vehicle. The victim complied, the suspect got into the vehicle and drove off in a northbound direction along Grand Concourse. Inside the vehicle was the victim’s backpack, which contained $1,000, a Samsung Galaxy cellphone and an LG cellphone.

 

No shots were fired and the victim was not injured. The vehicle was recovered on Monday, June 14, at 00.30 in front of 9 Thayer Street in the Fort George section of Northern Manhattan, located in the 34th precinct.

Photos and video are attached. The first video clip shows the incident. The later clips and photos show the two suspects shortly before the incident inside Kennedy Fried Chicken located at 2310 Grand Concourse. Unidentified male #1 is seen wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap. Unidentified male #2 is seen wearing a white t-shirt and a mask.
