The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached images who they say is sought in connection to a fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man in the Eastchester section of The Bronx on Saturday, June 14, as reported.
An NYPD spokesperson said that on Saturday, June 14, at around 2.03 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot at the intersection of Givan Avenue and Palmer Avenue.
“Upon arrival, police observed a 27-year-old male who suffered three gunshot wounds to the chest, inside of a 2012 gray Infinite sedan, unconscious and unresponsive,” the spokesperson said. “EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.”
On June 16, just after midnight, police said pursuant to an ongoing investigation, a 20-year-old man, Michael Aracena, of West 90th Street in Manhattan was arrested in the confines of the 47th Precinct, which covers the neighborhoods of Woodlawn, Wakefield, Williamsbridge, Baychester, Edenwald, Olinville, Fishbay, and Woodlawn Cemetary. They said he was charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, detectives submitted additional media depicting another suspect, who is described as a male with light to medium complexion, a slim build and black hair in a ponytail. They said he is around 5 feet tall and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and a baseball cap.
