Eastchester: Man Hospitalized after Being Hit with Car following Dispute in Auto Repair Shop

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred in the Eastchester section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at around 2 p.m. inside 1611 East 233rd Street (Auto Repair Shop), a 51-year-old male victim and an unidentified man got into a verbal dispute regarding the inspection of a vehicle, a gray Nissan Rogue NY Plate #KPY-6505.

Police said the suspect became irate and struck the victim with his vehicle before fleeing the scene to parts unknown. They said the victim sustained pain to his leg and was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in critical but stable condition.

 

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, is estimated to be between 25 and 35 years of age, has a thin build, black, long, braided hair, and was last seen wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, a tan jacket, black pants, and white and gray sneakers.
