Charlotte Gardens: Man Shot, Dies

On Thursday, March 4, 2021 at approximately 00.41 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot at East 173rd Street and Boston Road in the vicinity of Charlotte Gardens, in the 42nd precinct.

 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, with several gunshot wounds to his torso, in front of 1664 Boston Road. EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.

 

The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
