Majed Alwan of 1704 Van Buren Street, Bronx, NY was last seen on Tuesday, July 5, at approximately 10.30 a.m. leaving his home. An off-duty New York City employee has been arrested in the 49th precinct which covers Allerton, Morris Park, Van Nest, Pelham Parkway, Eastchester Gardens, and Pelham Gardens. On Monday, July 4, at 11.08 p.m., NYPD Police Officer Kelvin White, 43, was arrested while off duty and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and unlawful imprisonment. A man has been hospitalized with severe head trauma following a road accident in Woodlawn Heights. On Sunday, July 3, at approximately 1.08 p.m., police responded to a road accident in the vicinity of East 233rd Street and Webster Avenue, located in the 47th Precinct. A woman estimated to be in her thirties has died following a hit and run incident in West Farms.
