The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the High Rise Concrete Carpenters of New York City will conduct a recruitment drive from April 12 through November 8, 2023 for 100 Carpenter apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced on Monday, March 13. According to the department, applicants must attend an in-person information session at NYC District Council of Carpenters Training Center (NYC DCC Training Center) located at 395 Hudson Street (Clarkson Street entrance) in Manhattan. The NYPD is seeking the public’s help locating a 16-year-old male youth reported missing from Bedford Park. It was reported to police that Arvin Alcatara, 16, from 2980 Valentine Avenue, was last seen on Friday, March 10, at around 4 p.m. inside his home. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached screenshot and video who is sought for questioning regarding an assault that occurred in Wakefield. Following the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man in Belmont last month, as reported, the NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached surveillance photos regarding the incident. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning in connection to a shooting that occurred in Williamsbridge. It was reported to police that on Feb. 27, at around 6.23 a.m., at the corner of East 213th Street and Barnes Avenue, three unidentified individuals fired 15 rounds into a victim’s parked vehicle. “The individuals fled northbound on Barnes Avenue in a white Mercury Marquis, 4-door sedan that another unknown individual was driving,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim’s vehicle was vacant at the time of this incident
