Catholic Elementary Schools to Close Monday, Feb. 1, Due to Impending Snow Storm

On Sunday, Jan. 31, the Archdiocese of New York said all Catholic elementary schools in the archdiocese would be closed Monday, Feb. 1, due to the expected major snow storm. As reported by Norwood News, the national weather service expects the slow-moving system to bring snow accumulation exceeding 12 inches in some areas, as well as winds gusting as high as 40 mph which will cause hazardous driving conditions and the potential for power outages throughout the metropolitan area.   Archdiocese officials said Monday, Feb. 1, will be a “traditional snow day” with no remote instruction. Update: Chaos Follows Sen. Luis Sepúlveda’s Arrest Following Domestic Dispute

  State Sen.
