Eighteen people were taken into custody on Monday, Feb. 16, police said, after an estimated one hundred to five hundred teens participated seemingly in an organized “takeover” of The Mall at Bay Plaza in the Baychester section of The Bronx. When contacted for details of the charges, the NYPD said the details of any charges / summonses were not yet available.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced Jan. 13 that a Bronx man has been indicted on aggravated cruelty to animals and torturing and injuring animals in connection with the death of a cat and after animal rights activists shared their outrage following the circulation of a video on social media of the defendant sadistically torturing the animal.

Kingsbridge Heights: Two Women Sought for Robbery and Assault of 38-Year-Old Man

Kingsbridge: One Arrested in Fatal Shooting of 16-Year-Old Christopher Redding, GoFundMe Launched

Police said Saturday, Feb. 14, that they have arrested one person following the Wednesday evening triple shooting in the Kingsbridge section of The Bronx, in which 16-year-old Christopher Redding was fatally shot, and two other surviving teens were hospitalized. Off-Duty Assistant DA Arrested on DUI charges in the Northwest Bronx
