Fordham: NYPD Seek Public’s Assistance in Connection with Robbery

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individuals shown in the attached surveillance video who are wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 52nd precinct. On Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at approximately 3:40 a.m., in front of 16 West Fordham Road, three unidentified males approached a 19-year-old male victim and a 20-year-old male victim, displayed firearms and removed $400 from their pockets. The individuals fled the location and fired four rounds towards the victims. The victims were not injured as a result of the incident.

On Monday, July 20, 2020 at approximately 11:44 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 3340 Decatur Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 24-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the back. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Montefiore Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
