On Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at around 8.39 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been stabbed at 2802 Olinville Avenue, in Allerton section of the Bronx, in the 49th precinct. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 56-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, with a stab wound to the chest. The aided man was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced deceased. There were initially no arrests, and the investigation was ongoing. On Friday, Jan. 8, 2021 at approximately 00.15 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been stabbed at the corner of Boynton Avenue and Westchester Avenue, in the 43rd precinct. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered an unidentified man lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds to his body.
