$1 Million Powerball tickets Sold in Parkchester and in Nine Other Areas across the State

The New York Lottery announced on Monday, Jan. 25 that second-prize tickets for the Jan. 23 Powerball lottery drawing were sold in the Parkchester section of The Bronx, as well as in Brooklyn, Flushing, Jamaica, Manhattan, Poughkeepsie, Spring Valley, Walton, White Plains and Yonkers. Williamsbridge: Police Search for Three People following Shooting Incident

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the three individuals seen in the attached photo and video who are wanted for questioning in connection with a reckless endangerment incident that occurred in the 47th precinct.   On Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at around 3.44 a.m., in the vicinity of 801 Bartholdi Street in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx, three unknown individuals got into a parked vehicle at the location, and as they fled to parts unknown, they discharged several rounds through the sunroof window.   No injuries or property damage was reported

DSNY Issues ‘Snow Alert’ for Tuesday, January 26 from 2 a.m., Travel Advisory to Take Effect, ASP Suspended

The New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) has issued a snow alert for Tuesday, Jan. 26 beginning at 2 a.m.   Based on current forecasts, the department expects snowfall beginning early Tuesday morning and continuing throughout the day.     Last October, the New York City Police Department asked for the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the attached surveillance video and photo in connection with an assault that occurred in the 42nd precinct.   It was reported to police that on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020 at approximately 5.30 p.m., in front of 960 Tinton Avenue, located between Forest Houses and William McKinley Houses, a 30-year-old male victim was approached by an unknown individual who displayed a black firearm and shot the victim in the torso before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
