Norwood: One Man Stabbed and One Woman Shot at Lexa Bar at 204th Street

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in the 52nd precinct.   On Saturday, March 27, at approximately 2.29 a.m., the suspect approached a 38-year-old male victim as he stood in the door of Lexa Bar, located at 357 East 204th Street in the Norwood section of the Bronx. He produced a knife and proceeded to stab the victim multiple times in his back and head.   EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.   Video is attached.   Later on Saturday

Update: Changes to Bronx D Line Subway Service in April Due to Manhattan Bridge Inspections

NYPD Detective Arrested in 52nd Precinct for Sexual Abuse of Child

On Thursday March 25, 2021, at approximately 11 a.m., Franco Johnson, a 42-year-old, off-duty, NYPD detective, was arrested and charged in the 52nd precinct with six counts of sexual abuse, two counts of “course of sexual conduct against a child” and two counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child.   According to the NYPD Online system which now tracks police misconduct records, there are no complaints on file for Johnson.
