Bronxites Celebrate Dominican Heritage at Annual Dominican Day Parade

The Bronx celebrated its many residents of Dominican heritage on Sunday, July 25, at the annual Dominican Day Parade which kicked off at the Grand Concourse and 172nd Street. Mosholu Parkway Subway: Search for Suspect in Connection with Sexual Abuse Incident

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the male individual depicted in the attached sketch who is sought regarding a sexual abuse incident that occurred in the 52nd precinct / Transit District 11.   It was reported to police that on Monday, July 19, at approximately 6.15 p.m., on the northbound number 4 train, as it was approaching Mosholu Parkway subway station, the unidentified suspect approached a 16-year-old female victim and proceeded to sexually abuse her before fleeing the station. UPDATE: More Details Emerge of Bee-line Bus Crash in Norwood Which Injured 14, One Critically

  Police and other investigators have provided further details of the circumstances which gave rise to a horrific road accident in Norwood  on Thursday, July 29, as reported. A reward of up to $10,000 is been offered to the public for their help with a murder investigation, following an incident in Pelham Gardens which left a 91-year-old man dead.   Police responded to a 911 call regarding a robbery at 2400 Wicham Avenue in Pelham Gardens, in the 49th precinct, on Tuesday Aug. 3, at approximately 12.34 in the afternoon. New Millionaire in the Bronx following Sale of Lucky Powerball Ticket

The Bronx may have a new millionaire in its midst. The New York Lottery announced on Thursday, Aug. 5, that one second-prize ticket for the Aug. 4 Powerball drawing was sold in the borough.
