National Weather Service Issues Wind Advisory from Dec. 11 until Dec. 12 at 4 A.M. for NYC

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a wind advisory on Saturday, Dec. 11, which is in effect from 3.40 p.m. on Saturday until Sunday, Dec. 12, at 4 a.m.   Southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph are expected, with gusts of up to 50 mph, then becoming westerly.   NWS officials said portions of Southeast New York, Northeast New Jersey and Southern Connecticut will be affected. Ocasio-Cortez, Bowman Send Letter to FEMA, Requesting Additional Aid for Ida Victims

    Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) and Jamaal Bowman (NY-16) sent a letter dated Nov. 30 to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) asking them to provide additional aid to victims of Hurricane Ida.
