Allerton: 45-Year-Old Man Dies following Scooter Accident

Police confirm a 45-year-old man has died following a scooter accident in Allerton.   It was reported that on Oct. 27, at 8.21 p.m., the operator of a Cycleboard rover scooter was traveling southbound along Bronx Park East,  approaching Waring Avenue, in the Allerton section of the Bronx when he lost control of the scooter and struck his head on the ground.   The victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased on Nov. 11. The victim has been identified as Marvin Campbell, 45, of Bussing Avenue in the Wakefield section of the Bronx.

Brooklyn Resident Reported Missing in 52nd Precinct

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a 44-year-old man from Brooklyn who was reported missing on Monday, Nov. 15, from within the confines of the Bronx’s 52nd precinct.   John Thorton, 44, of 1597 Sedgwick Avenue in Brooklyn was last seen at his home in Brooklyn at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 15.
