It was a beautiful, sunshine-filled day for the Second Annual Fall Festival held on Saturday, Oct. 28, in St. James Park in Fordham Manor where around 600 Bronx families enjoyed food, games, and were also able to avail of community resources and information services on a variety of topics.

The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, located at 3415 Bainbridge Avenue in Norwood, hosted a Halloween Candy Exchange event on Wednesday, Nov. 1, to enable children with diabetes to participate in the fun of Halloween.

An estimated crowd of over 1,000 trick-or-treaters and their parents joined local police officers and members of the NYPD’s Explorers Program as the 52nd Precinct hosted their Annual “Trunk or Treat” Halloween event in Norwood on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Representatives from Vote WildflowerNYC, an initiative to establish an official wildflower of New York City, announced the winner of Vote WildflowerNYC, a campaign to establish an official wildflower of New York City on Friday, Nov. 10, with Manhattan coming out on top. The Bronx entry finished in fourth place.
