Editor’s Pick    NYBG Holiday Train Show See twenty miniature trains zigzag and snake along replicas of familiar New York City landmarks at the 23rd annual New York Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show from November 15 until January 19, 2015. Seasonal programming includes a visit from a former poet laureate and The Winter Harmonies Concert Series. Tickets are $20 for adults and $8 for children ages 2-12. ICYMI: Halloween In Norwood

Ghouls, goblins and superheroes overtook Norwood on Halloween as the neighborhood celebrated the yearly tradition. Around the block, kids traipsed up and down stores, tricking or treating anyone who came along. The Norwood News re-wound the clocks to last week to feature all the verve and vibe of Halloween 2014 in our neat slideshow. Polls at schools, community centers and senior centers are open until 9 p.m. in a General Election that’s already perceived as having a very low voter turnout despite a New York gubernatorial contest that needs to be decided.
