Bronx Man Who Sexually Assaulted Three People in Inwood Gets 20 Years

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr. announced on Wednesday, Jan. 17, the sentencing of Elvis Nina Pichardo, 43, from the The Bronx, to 20 years in state prison and 20 years of post-release supervision for sexually assaulting three people in Inwood Hill Park in Manhattan in July 2021.

Bedford Park: Police Unable to Provide Details of “Warrant” Arrest

A pair of police officers from the 52nd Precinct made a 100-yard dash in record time in the Bedford Park neighborhood on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2023, eventually taking a young suspect into custody. However, the NYPD said the department was unable to provide any details of the arrest, when asked.
