Senior leadership from the MTA and Bronx elected officials announced that final plans have been approved for a redesign of bus routes in the Bronx. Officially known as the Bronx Bus Network Plan, it is the most significant change in bus transportation in decades. Although the 323-page report, titled “The Bronx Bus Network Redesign” includes the words “Final Plan” on the cover, transit officials are encouraging continued feedback from community boards, elected officials, and commuters. A suspect has been shot by police in a daytime incident in Norwood. The shooting was reported at Bainbridge Avenue and East 211th Street, a busy intersection in Norwood at around 3 p.m., according to police. Crime File: Push-In Robbers Wanted in Bedford Park

Push-In Robbery Two armed men are wanted for forcing their way into an apartment in Bedford Park, tying up the victims, and burning one of them with an iron. Police said this happened at 1 p.m. inside 400 E. Mosholu Pkwy. S. on Oct. 13. The victims, a 33-year-old woman and 45-year-old man, were tied with shoe laces, and pressed for money, which they did not give up. The men then took off, taking the victims’ cell phones with them. Alleged Trinitario Linked to Teen Stabbing in Norwood Rounded Up in NYPD Raid

A suspect involved in the June 2018 gang attack of a 14-year-old teen on the Bronx River Parkway near the East Gun Hill Road exit is among those arrested in a sweep of Trinitarios on Wednesday morning. NYPD cops coordinated a number of raids in the Bronx and Manhattan, arresting multiple alleged leaders of the Trinitarios gang, according to PIX 11.
