Bedford Park: Individuals Wanted in Connection with Mailbox Robbery

  The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals who appear in the attached video in connection with a burglary that occurred within the confines of the 52nd precinct.   On Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020 at approximately 5:14 a.m., inside of 325 East 201st Street, two unknown individuals forcibly gained access to the building through a secured front entrance. Update – Man Arrested for Murder of 29-Year-Old Man in Norwood

On Friday, Oct. 9, 2020 at approximately 8 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who was stabbed at the corner of Jerome Avenue and East Gun Hill Road, within the confines of the 52nd precinct.   Upon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old man who had sustained a stab wound to his chest. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. Fordham Heights: Gunman Sought for Daylight Shooting at Audio King on Fordham Road

Andy King Releases Statement Following NYC Council Decision to Expel Him

New York City Council expelled Councilman Andy King (D-Bronx) on Monday, Oct. 5, over charges he harassed and discriminated against a female employee, took a kickback from another staffer and failed to pay a fine for previous misconduct. City Employee Arrested on Assault Charges in Bronx

On Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 at 00:38 a.m., an off-duty New York City male employee was arrested and charged within the confines of the 44th precinct, which covers the neighborhoods of Grand Concourse, Bronx Terminal Market, and Yankee Stadium.   Diego Carmona-Suero, 33, an employee at the New York City Department of Sanitation was charged with assault.   An arrest is not proof that a person is guilty of a crime.
