Bronx Man Pleads Guilty to Manslaughter in Shooting

On Oct. 29, Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced that a Bronx man pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and will be sentenced to 15 years in prison. New York City Employee Arrested on DUI Charge

On Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 at 2.31 a.m., an off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged in the 49th precinct in the Bronx.   Hector Martinez, 39, an NYPD police officer, was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with impaired ability from alcohol intake.

Norwood: Bank ATM Damaged in Burglary Attempt on Jerome Avenue

  The NYPD is looking for the person, or persons, responsible for an attempted burglary of a Bank of America Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) on Jerome Avenue in Norwood.   According to police spokesman, Sergeant Edward Riley, officers from the 52nd precinct were called to the Bank of America bank branch, located at 3424 Jerome Avenue, just before noon on Friday, Nov. 6. Update: Further Arrest Made in Nyla Bond Case in Mount Eden

On Monday, Nov. 2, 2020 at around 6.45 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding an assault which occurred inside 1460 Macombs Road in the Mount Eden section of the Bronx, in the 44th precinct. Family of Crash Victim Seek Funds for Burial in Guatemala

Norwood: Collision Leaves Motorcyclist with Severe Head Injury

  Police were called at around 6.25 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6,  to the scene of a collision involving a motorcycle on Jerome Avenue and Mosholu Parkway South. They said a motorcycle operator, a 47-year-old man, was struck by a vehicle at the location.
