City Employee Arrested in the Bronx

On Wednesday November 18, 2020, at approximately 11 a.m., an off-duty New York City employee was arrested in the 45th precinct in the Bronx. The precinct covers Co-op City and City Island. Christopher Orere, 36, from the Administration for Children’s Services was arrested and charged with assault and harassment.

Update: Woman Sought for Questioning in Fordham Manor Murder Case

On Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 at approximately 2.20 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot in front of 341 East 194th Street, in the 52nd precinct. A preliminary investigation determined that a 36-year-old man was shot in the torso by an unknown individual at the location, and was transported via private means to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
