Fordham Manor: Search for Man following Daylight Stabbing

A 56-year-old man was stabbed during a verbal dispute over money by another man in the vicinity of East Fordham and Elm Place in Fordham Manor, in the 52nd precinct. Police responded to the incident on Saturday, June 5, at around 1.13 p.m. The victim said the dispute escalated and the suspect stabbed the victim in the back. EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. Search for Man in Connection with Bronx-wide Forcible Touching Pattern

  The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached surveillance video and photos in connection with a Bronx-wide, forcible touching pattern reported in the 42nd, 46th and 52nd precincts.   The first incident took place in the 52nd precinct. School Safety Agent Arrested on Assault Charges

An off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged with assault in the 49th precinct, which covers Allerton, Morris Park, Van Nest, Pelham Parkway, Eastchester Gardens, and Pelham Gardens.   Ashley Samuels-Johnson, 33, an NYPD school safety agent, was charged on Tuesday, June 1, at approximately 6.13 p.m.   Samuels-Johnson’s name does not appear in the NYPD’s public records database.   A person arrested and accused of a crime is innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.  

Fordham Manor: Individuals Sought in Connection with Shooting

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individuals seen in the attached video who are wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred in the 52nd precinct, categorized as a reckless endangerment incident.   On June 1, at approximately 4.08 a.m., the individuals in question displayed a firearm and discharged it three times in the vicinity of East 194th Street and Briggs Avenue in Fordham Manor. Update: Bronx DA Report Says “No Criminality” by NYPD in Jahmel Leach Case

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark has released the findings of a 23-page report on the Public Integrity Bureau’s investigation into an incident involving Bronx teen, Jahmel Leach, and the NYPD which took place on Fordham Road on June 1, 2020.
