Bronx Man Sentenced to 16 Years in Prison for Fatally Beating Two-Year-Old Boy

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Thursday, July 15, that a Bronx man had been sentenced to 16 years in prison for brutally beating a two-year-old boy in 2018, causing his death.   Clark said the defendant mercilessly beat an innocent two-year-old child named Messiah Allen, causing fatal injuries. “The defendant, who was the boyfriend of the child’s mother, attacked him while she was at her job. The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the two unidentified men seen in the attached photos who are sought in connection with an assault that occurred in Bedford Park, in the 52nd Precinct.   It was reported to police that on Monday, July 12, at approximately 9.41 a.m., at the corner of Valentine Avenue and East 204th Street in Bedford Park, a 61-year-old man got into a verbal dispute with the two suspects. Fordham Manor: Man Sought for Slashing Incident Using Machete

Police from the 52nd precinct are seeking the public’s assistance locating the man seen in the attached photos who is wanted for questioning in relation to a felony assault involving a machete which occurred in Fordham Manor on Sunday. The incident occurred at West Kingsbridge Road and Webb Avenue in Fordham Manor on Sunday, July 11, at 4.28 p.m. The pictured man slashed a victim across the back of the neck with a machete. Police responded to a 911 call regarding a person who had been shot in front of 743 East 187th Street in Belmont, in the 48th precinct, on Sunday, July 11, at approximately 3.18 p.m.   Upon arrival, police observed a 13-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his chest and leg.
