The NYPD said two 21-year-old men have been shot in Bedford Park. Officers responded to a report that the two men had been shot at East 201st Street and Decatur Avenue by an unidentified third man at around 3.01 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12. A murder investigation has been launched following the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old woman in the Morris Heights section of The Bronx. A Bronx NYPD officer who was arrested following groping allegations has had the related charges dropped due to lack of evidence, according to a media report. An NYPD spokesperson said that on Sunday, Sept.11, at 11 p.m., the off-duty NYPD officer was arrested and charged in the 44th Precinct, which covers the Grand Concourse, Bronx Terminal Market, and Yankee Stadium. Police said Julio Alcantara-Santiago, 38, assigned to Transit District 11, which covers 161st Street and Yankee Stadium subway station, and who is a police officer since 2013, was arrested on charges of forcible touching and sex abuse.

A man and a woman have been shot amid a dispute in Norwood. A 41-year-old man has died following a stabbing incident in Morris Heights.
