Police said they have arrested a 21-year-old man following the fatal shooting of a 71-year-old woman and injury to a second woman in Mott Haven on Sept. 14.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Monday, Sept. 11, that a Bronx man was sentenced to 13 years in prison for a gang-related shooting that killed a 17-year-old boy in a crowd that had gathered for the filming of a rap music video in a McDonald’s parking lot.

A man armed with a kitchen knife, described by the NYPD as being in his thirties and Black, has died after he was shot by police officers during an incident inside a 7-Eleven convenience store in the Throggs Neck section of The Bronx.
