On Monday, May 2, 2020 at approximately 5:04 a.m., police officers responded to 62 East 182nd Street within the confines of the 46th precinct regarding a report of an assault. A 53-year-old male reported to police that he was shot in the back by an unidentified individual in front of 2200 Morris Avenue. On Thursday, May 28, 2020 at approximately 7:58 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a person stabbed at 861 Tinton Avenue within the confines of the 40th precinct. Upon arrival, officers determined that a 32-year-old male was stabbed in the abdomen. EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Lincoln where he was pronounced deceased. A person was taken in for questioning and the investigation is ongoing. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending proper family notification. On Friday, May 8, 2020 at approximately 6:00 p.m., in front of 1052 Anderson Ave, a 22-year-old male victim became involved in a dispute with a female which escalated into a physical confrontation.
