The Administration for Children and Families, part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has awarded researchers at Montefiore Health System a $3 million grant to improve the well-being of families, by helping fathers with substance use disorders. The new grant aims to enhance a regional partnership between addiction treatment programs, child welfare services, and government agencies. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help, identifying the person seen in the attached photo and video who is sought in connection to the robbery of a 77-year-old woman in Bedford Park. Police said that on Tuesday, Nov, 8, at around 8.20 hours, a 77-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of Decatur Avenue and East 201st Street when a person unknown to her approached her. Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. It was reported to the NYPD that Yasmine Lefranc of 2516 Grand Avenue was last seen on Friday, Nov. 4, at around 4.30 p.m., leaving her home. She is described as female, is around 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs around 250 pounds, is Black with a medium complexion, has short black hair, and brown eyes.
