CM Amanda Farías Allocates $25,000 to Jacobi Medical Center’s Stand Up to Violence Program

District 18 City Council Member Amanda Farías presented a check of $25,000 to support Jacobi’s Stand Up to Violence (SUV) program in early February. The SUV program is the first hospital-run, cure violence-based program in the nation. Fordham Manor: 70-Year-Old Woman Robbed & Elbowed in Face

Woodlawn Heights: Search for Man following Robbery

UPDATE Norwood: 13-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing Found

The NYPD said a 13-year-old girl who had been reported missing from Norwood has returned home.   Prior to her return, police said that it had been reported to them that Leanna Fernandez of Hull Avenue had last been seen on Friday, March 3, at around 7.30 a.m., leaving her home.
