Last week, the Bronx Community Pride Center celebrated its new home, and eight pastors from varying faiths visited the group’s new building to participate in an interdenominational blessing ceremony for the new site, on Kelly Street in Hunts Point.

Bedford Park merchants and vendors are on guard following two commercial robberies and a “noticed increase” in crime during the past month. The two robberies happened on Bedford Park Boulevard, near Jerome Avenue.

Donations are needed for BMCA’s annual Flea Market on March 10. Bring new and used items (except clothing) to the BMCA office on Wednesdays, Feb. 15, 22 and 29 from 1:30-4 p.m. or on Wednesday evening March 7, from 7:30-9 p.m.
