Man Sought for Forcible Touching Incident

  The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male individual wanted in connection with a forcible touching incident which occurred in the 52nd Precinct.    On Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020 at approximately 3.15 p.m., in the vicinity of East 197th Street and Decatur Avenue in the Bronx, a 33-year-old female victim was entering the rear of her apartment building when an unidentified male approached from behind and grabbed the victim’s buttocks. MTA to Work on D, N and R Subway Lines Next Month to Improve System Reliability

  On Sept. 10, the MTA announced that crews will replace track switches and perform an array of other improvement projects on the lines beginning on Oct. 9, which will lead to improved reliability and better service throughout the lines in Brooklyn, The Bronx, Manhattan and Queens.   The work will require three weekends with selected service in Manhattan and Brooklyn, which will be supplemented by free shuttle buses and alternate subway service.   Replacing track switches north of Atlantic Av-Barclays Center will allow the  lines to move safely between the local and express tracks while providing operational flexibility, reducing delays and improving reliability.

MTA Denies Friends of Mosholu Parkland Permit to Paint Mural

Fordham Manor: Man Wanted for Stealing $4,500 Worth of Tools

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual shown in the attached video in connection with a commercial burglary which occurred within the confines of the 52nd precinct.   It was reported to police that on Aug. 29, 2020, at approximately 00:35 a.m., at 2467 Jerome Avenue, in the Fordham Manor section of the Bronx, an unidentified man entered the location, which is under construction, and removed tools totaling approximately $4,500. Environmentalists to State Officials: Keep Commitment to Energy Equity

On Tuesday, Aug. 8, leading advocates challenged the Cuomo administration to keep its commitment to the linked goals of environmental justice and fighting climate change by dedicating $89.7 million in funds, collected this year from polluters, to frontline communities and clean energy projects.
