Update: Further Arrest Made in Nyla Bond Case in Mount Eden

On Monday, Nov. 2, 2020 at around 6.45 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding an assault which occurred inside 1460 Macombs Road in the Mount Eden section of the Bronx, in the 44th precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old woman with a stab wound to her chest.   EMS transported the victim to Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, where she was pronounced deceased. Mosholu Preservation Corporation (MPC) is inviting Bronx small business owners to apply for PPE Micro Grants. Fire Reported in Norwood on Saturday; No Reported Injuries

The FDNY confirm that a fire in a multiple dwelling was reported on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1.21 p.m. at 3318 Bainbridge Avenue in the Norwood section of the Bronx.  Three fire units responded and the fire was placed under control at 1.42 p.m. No injuries were reported. Family of Crash Victim Seek Funds for Burial in Guatemala

Norwood: Collision Leaves Motorcyclist with Severe Head Injury

  Police were called at around 6.25 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6,  to the scene of a collision involving a motorcycle on Jerome Avenue and Mosholu Parkway South. They said a motorcycle operator, a 47-year-old man, was struck by a vehicle at the location. Police Athletic League Hosts Bronx Fall “Street Games” Event on Nov. 7

New York City kids aged ten to seventeen years of age are invited to join in some outdoor sports as part of a new “Street Games” program organized by the Police Athletic League (PAL), which will be visiting each borough throughout the fall.   PAL is the first civilian-run police athletic league in the country.
