Arbor Day is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees. The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of a 58-year-old man reported missing on Monday, November 9, 2020 in the 42nd precinct. James Jones, 58, of 1455 Fulton Avenue, Room 208 in the Bronx was last seen at his home at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020. Jones is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual in the attached surveillance photos who is wanted for questioning in connection to an assault/non-fatal shooting that occurred in the 47th precinct in the East Bronx. On Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 at around 6:37 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot inside 1486 Vyse Avenue in the 42nd precinct, in the Bronx. Upon arrival, police observed a 31-year-old man, who was unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS responded and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying two individuals who appear in the attached surveillance video and photos in connection with a commercial burglary that occurred in Fordham Manor, in the 52nd precinct. On Friday, Oct. 30, 2020, at approximately 5.30 a.m., at 127 East Fordham Road (Fordham Jewelry), two unidentified men cut a hole in the roof and gained entry to the jewelry store, using a ladder. Once inside, the individuals removed approximately $100,000 worth of jewelry. The individuals later fled in a tan Chevy Tahoe to parts unknown.
