Indoor Dining Increases to 50 Percent Capacity from March 19

  Indoor dining in New York City will expand to 50 percent capacity, effective March 19, according to New York State Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Currently, New York City and New Jersey restaurants are operating at 35 percent capacity, having been allowed expand from the initial 25 percent capacity, in the early part of 2021.   The latest decision to increase to 50 percent was made in partnership with Gov. Wallace Avenue Shooting latest in String of Recent Pelham Parkway Violent Incidents

  Detectives in the 49th precinct are looking for two gunmen who entered an apartment and shot a man in Pelham Parkway before fleeing the area. Update: Man Dies in Fatal Motorcycle Collision on Major Deegan Expressway

On Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 9.56 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a motor vehicle collision on the northbound Major Deegan Expressway in the vicinity of the 233rd Street exit, in Woodlawn Heights, in the 50th precinct.   Upon arrival, police observed a 58-year-old man with severe trauma to his head and torso. Phony Plumbers Sought in Wakefield Home Invasion & Torture of Two Men

Police are looking for two individuals who posed as plumbers, and are now wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery and the overnight torture and assault of two residents in the Wakefield section of the borough.   According to a February 25th statement from the NYPD, the incident began at 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, in the vicinity of East 227 Street and Barnes Avenue.
