The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 69-year-old woman who was reported missing in the 52nd precinct. Teresa Thompson, 69, of 2553 University Avenue in Fordham Manor was last seen on Tuesday June 29, inside her home at approximately 5.14 p.m. She was reported missing on July 1, 2021, at 1.10 a.m. She is described as female, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, Black, weighs 285 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair, and was last seen wearing a white hat, an orange shirt and black sneakers. The New York City Board of Elections (BOE) republished a preliminary report of the 2021 Primary Election unofficial RCV count tabulation for mayor, city comptroller and public advocate on Wednesday, June 30, having published erroneous data in relation to the mayoral race the previous day, and having removed the data shortly afterwards. The agency cited human error which caused 130,000 test votes to be included in the tally / system when they shouldn’t have been. The New York City Budget of $98.7 billion for the Financial Year 2022 was voted on in-person at the Council on Wednesday, and has passed, with 39 in favor, 6 against, and 4 not present. ICNA Relief/Muslims for Humanity, the NYPD, Smiles through Cars, the Muslim & Immigrant Coalition for Justice, Bronx Community Council for Unity, Faith & Humanity, the Chaplain for the State of New York, and Empire Blue Cross, Blue Shield joined forces for an Eid celebration on Sunday, May 16, at 2141 Bronx Park East, in Pelham Parkway, following the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached surveillance video who is sought for questioning in connection to an assault that occurred in Mount Hope, in the 46th precinct. For the second time in a little over five weeks, two men were shot near East Gun Hill Road in Norwood and once again, police are searching for the gunman responsible.
