Claremont Park Shooting: One Dead, Three Injured, including an 11-Year-Old Boy

A 22-year-old man is dead, and three others are wounded, including an 11-year-old boy following a shooting in Claremont Park.   Police responded to a call on Saturday, Sept. 18, at approximately 11.13 p.m. regarding an assault that occurred inside Claremont Park in the vicinity of Teller Avenue and Mount Eden Parkway, located in the 44th precinct.   Upon arrival, officers determined that the 11-year-old boy (victim 1) was shot in the shoulder, a 24-year-old woman (victim 2) was shot two times in the torso, the 22-year-old man (victim 3) was shot in the torso, and second, 22-year-old man (victim

UPDATE Laconia: 26-Year-Old Man Dies following Residential Shooting

A 26-year-old man is dead following a shooting in the Laconia section of the Bronx.   On Saturday, Sept. 18, at approximately 10.35 p.m., police responded to a call regarding an assault which occurred inside 3400 Wickham Avenue, located in the 47th precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old man lying unconscious and unresponsive in the hallway with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.   EMS responded and transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.  The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.

Espaillat leads Effort to Eliminate Barriers to Federal Disaster Relief in Wake of Hurricane Ida

Norwood: Search for Suspect following Assault that left Victim in Critical Condition

Alternating Overnight Exit Ramp Closures from Hamilton Bridge to Major Deegan Expressway, Sept 20-22
