By Kasia Romanowska Many people crossing Mosholu Parkway North on this morning were fuming over the unusual view of several benches ripped off from the ground, left alone on the massive lawn without warning. At least five benches flanking the scenic roadway in Bedford Park/Norwood were slashed in half, the debris leftover, with many residents scratching their heads over what caused this. A group of folks huddled around one bench just on a hilltop, with piles of concrete, wood and shavings left over. “Did they break it off purposely?” asked a man pushing a stroller. “I was out here last night

A food and clothing drive organized by Councilman Andy Cohen, along with Community Board 7, has now been set up for families affected by the Sept. 10 three-alarm fire at 3311 Decatur Ave. in Norwood.
