Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson and partners kicked off the 2026 Bronx Summer Concert Series on Sunday, July 12, at the newly renovated Orchard Beach Pavillion.
Described as “a free, family-friendly tradition that brings residents and visitors together to celebrate the borough’s vibrant culture through music and community,’ the 2026 concert series welcomed hundreds of attendees to “the Bronx Riviera” for an afternoon of live entertainment featuring Los Hermanos Moreno, Luisito Rosario, Miriam Cruz, and sounds by DJ Ralphie Mercado.

Officials from the Bronx borough president’s office said the Bronx Summer Concert Series will continue, as usual, every Sunday throughout July and August, as well as on the first Sunday of September, bringing what they described as world-class performances to one of The Bronx’s most iconic waterfront destinations.

“Our annual Bronx Summer Concert Series is one of the borough’s most cherished summer traditions, bringing together families, neighbors, and visitors alike to celebrate the rich culture, music, and energy that make the Bronx so special,” said Gibson.

“As we return to the beautifully renovated Orchard Beach Pavilion, we’re excited to welcome everyone back to our Bronx Riviera for another unforgettable season of live performances, community, and celebration,” the borough president added.

She concluded, “Thank you to our performers, sponsors, partners, and everyone who joined us to kick off what promises to be an incredible summer in The Bronx.”

As above, the concert series will continue every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. through Sunday, Sept. 6, at the Orchard Beach Pavilion.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to join the event throughout the summer to enjoy free, live entertainment on the Bronx waterfront.

This week`s performers are Johnny Mambo with Special Quest, Bronx Charanga, Son del Monte, and a special musical selection by DJ Ralphie Mercado.
