Bedford Park: Police Appeal to Public for Help Locating 16-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing

The New York City Police Department is appealing to the public for help locating a 16-year-old girl from Bedford Park reported missing on Friday, Aug. 11.

They said Jaylin Sanchez of 2995 Botanical Square was last seen on Thursday, Aug. 10, at around 6 a.m., leaving her home. She is described as female, Hispanic, is around 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds, and was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, blue jean shorts, and black and white sneakers. She was also last seen carrying a black book bag.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
