Building applications have been filed with New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) for a new, 12-story, mixed-use building at 19 East 198th Street in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx, as reported by YIMBY.

Located between Creston Avenue and Jerome Avenue, the lot is closest to the Bedford Park Boulevard subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Mirza Rahman is listed as the owner behind the applications.

According to YIMBY, the proposed 112-foot-tall development will yield 64,040 square feet, designated for residential space with community facility space on the cellar level and parking on the first floor. The building will comprise 64 residential units, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,000 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 16 open parking spaces.

Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not yet been filed for the existing two-story residential building located at the site, and an estimated completion date for the new building has not yet been announced.
