The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached photos who they say are wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in the Baychester section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at around 2.35 p.m., a 15-year-old male victim was aboard a BX 38 MTA bus approaching Bartow Avenue and Gunther Avenue when two unidentified people got into a verbal dispute with the victim. They said one of the two suspects began to punch and kick the victim throughout his body, and the second stabbed him in the chest multiple times with a knife.
“The individuals then exited the bus and fled the location on foot traveling westbound on Bartow Avenue,” a police spokesperson said. “EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition.” Police said the first suspect is described as male. They said he was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and beige boots.

They said the second suspect is also described as male and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.
