Westchester Square: Livery Driver Shot in Leg While in Car Collides with Second Vehicle

A livery taxi driver was wounded as he sat behind the wheel of his cab by an unknown assailant on Friday in the Westchester Square section of the Bronx. The driver reportedly hit the gas to escape the gunman, causing his vehicle to plow into a parked car. UPDATE Norwood: Fire at 52nd Precinct Under Control, No Injuries

Norwood: Man Shot, Police Search for Suspect

The NYPD are continuing to search for a suspect following a shooting of a man inside a residential building in Norwood.   A department spokesperson told Norwood News by phone that police received a report of an adult male who was shot in the leg on the 4th floor of a building at 3211 Parkside Place on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 15.31.   The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and is expected to survive.   The perpetrator was last seen on foot in the vicinity of 207th Street and Parkside Place. UPDATE Bronx DA: Tennessee College Student Charged with Selling 73 Guns to Undercover Officer

Police confirm a man was shot inside Jacobi Medical Center, part of the NYC Health + Hospitals public hospital system, on Tuesday, Jan 25.
