Allerton: Group of Five Sought in Bronx Robbery Pattern

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the people seen in the attached photos who are sought for questioning in connection to a robbery pattern identified in the Allerton section of The Bronx.

 

Police said, on Thursday, Aug. 18, at around 11.50 p.m., in the vicinity of Olinville Avenue and Thwaites Place, a 38-year-man was approached from behind by five, unidentified people and was allegedly punched multiple times on the face and body. The group allegedly stole his iphone, and then fled westbound towards Bronx Park East.

 

On the same evening, at around 11.55 p.m., in front of 2526 Bronx Park East, police said a 47-year-old was approached by five, unidentified people who allegedly stole the victim’s backpack, which contained his credit card, speaker, and personal papers. The group fled northbound, once again, towards Bronx Park East.

 

On Monday, Aug. 29, at around 9 p.m., once again in front of 2526 Bronx Park East, police said a 38-year-old male victim was approached this time by four, unidentified people who allegedly demanded his money. One member of the group allegedly displayed a black gun and punched the victim in the face and body, before allegedly stealing his MetroPCS cellphone. The group fled northbound, once again, towards Bronx Park East.
